I have tried, long ago....but there is no way I can overpower my need to know NOW... so if I can't watch live I WILL follow by any means possible. Even if it means calling an acquaintance and bugging the hell out of them.. (yes, I've done that).
Never the less I can relate... in my other life, (everything non Rams)... that comes up occasionally and I don't want to know.... not until a later time.... but, and maybe this is a bit like you, it's painful... because I can take the body language of the weather girl on TV who is talking about a flood in Peru and translate that into a cryptic signal about how a movie ends that I'm going to watch that evening. And even further... I can then convince myself my preconceived cryptic decoding was right, whether it was or not.
I never did use 'record' much and these days I don't use it at all... everything that happens in life is available somewhere - youtube, snapchat, one those things. Which is why I never research myself.... Don't want to stumble on a video of me dropping my toast butter side down and then eating it anyway. Although, you bringing this topic up leads me to believe you've seen me do that. - JamesJM
