Yep. Here’s my take.

Whit either retires, is traded, or released. It’s time, plus the cap savings are needed elsewhere.

Boom is extended at whatever the market price is. Boom has earned it and will be a fine LOT for years. Maybe not a Pro Bowler, but still a top third player there. Maybe even better than that.

Alaric Jackson will assume Boom’s role as backup. AJ was a shrewd Snead signing for sure. Maybe AJ can one day beat out either Boom or Hav? Wouldn’t that be something?

The above would solve our LOT ‘problem’ and provide some cap resources to address the upcoming Allen and Corbett FA decisions.

Once Rams get this OL extended THEN they would feel free to make more sexy moves perhaps with OBj, Miller, Michel, or bring in a CB or Safety. But first things first. Get that OL tucked away.
