Just so you know-and possibly don't follow the game. Baker is well respected throughout the league Being respected has nothing to do with what I said. , including the Ram players, for his own toughness and the fact that he would never feel glory-as you do there is no glory in knocking someone out on a football field. -in seriously injuring another player. He was not seriously injured, he had a concussion and was tweeting from his hospital bed. People in serious car accidents don't tweet from their hospital bed. He is also the best safety in the league. Wrong, he might be top 5 or 10, but he isn't the best. I'd throw out in no order Simmons, Fitzpatrick, Mathieu and James,.
You can sit behind your little computer scream and act macho but I would love to see you face him with the same words -if he recovers. I wouldn't have an issue saying that to him. I might get my butt whooped, but after having my butt handed to me multiple times by 1300 lb. cattle that don't appreciate me messing with their calves, I'm sure I'd live. Now if it was Aliq Talib, thats a different story. I don't mess with crazy.
Note the number of Rams who were kneeling beside him when he was taken to the ambulance. Ask a Ram player what they think of Baker? Not just as a player but as a human being. So you are saying if the player is a @#$%& like Burfict, then its alright to be concussed and taunted because he is not respected as a player or human? Thats just dumb.
I guess it would have been better for Akers to not lower his shoulder into Baker and let Baker shred his knee, because thats what Baker was aiming for. At least Akers wouldn't have hurt such a beloved football player.
