Since it's manic Monday, why not bring up Goff? In 2020, Goff's last quarter of the year was dreadful. He barely threw more TD's than INT's and he posted an 84.0 rating. A change was made and rightfully so. A championship caliber team cannot be saddled with that kind of inefficiency.
A year later, where are we at QB? The last 4 games, Stafford has actually been worse than Goff was, putting up an 83.8 rating. He is proving to be just as unreliable and costly to the Rams chances of success as Goff was. Which sucks, but even more than the QB problem, we now have to also consider the common denominator. Are these QB being put in a losing situation by the playcalling?
The one common denominator between Stafford and Goff's, awful play, is of course McVay.
