You say crickets, I say Stafford has been awful when we needed him most. Even at his worst, when it was clear he was on the way out, Goff only threw 3 interceptions that last quarter of the season. Stafford had 8 picks in his last 4 games. Essentially 7 pick 6's on the year. Whatever benefit he is providing in production is being negated by his turnovers.
Which is doubly problematic with a defense that can't get off the field. That's 8 extra possessions that the opposition has sat on the ball.
