I think those "red seats" were long purchased before the serious implications of today's game came to be. There are people who live here that love the Niners just like there are people here who love the Rams. This is not St. Louis.

And this is not an excuse. In So Cal we now have a loud and vocal Ram fan base. Believe it-we do ! But this is a an enormous place to live and we have a broad and diverse fan base here that covers the entire spectrum of Professional football fans. That is the difference between here and St. Louis.
