It's not "sugar coating"-it's just how it is. If the sole criteria of being a fan is home field advantage then one can choose ANY other team in the NFL no matter how many times they lose to the Rams. That's because L.A. is L.A and will always be a great home for people that come here from other cities that formed their fandom.

I've been to every game since they've been back and besides the Niners games(as usual) the crowds have been great
I'm done defending the crowds....some of the people complaining about the crowds on this board live with in driving distance but never gone to a game
This sounds exactly like some of the stuff we used to go through in trying to defend, explain, refute, etc when the Rams were in St Louis. The shoe may be on the other foot, but it fits the same.
