I also think of Kurt Warner as that type of gunslinger.

In his two Super Bowl season with the Ram (1999 & 2001) he threw 13 and 22 interceptions respectively. 22 int's in 2001 and the Rams still had an NFL-best 14-2 record!

And the year he took the Cards to the dance (2008) he threw 14 ints.

(Note: his TD numbers for those three seasons were 41, 36, and 30. Right now Stafford has 38 TDs and 15 int)
