53 is right about Stafford.
Sometimes you’re gonna get the ‘good’ Stafford and sometimes you’re gonna get the ‘bad’ Stafford. Ravens game was perfect example of both. WTF first half and a perfect second half. Not ideal for my blood pressure but I love the final results.
We’re just gonna have to accept that until further notice.
Overall, he’s a far superior QB to Goff and is plenty good enough to get us into and win a SB given his surrounding cast.
But if you’re gonna hold him to an Aaron Rodgers kind of standard then you’re gonna be disappointed.
As an aside and just to put this Ravens Stafford bashing in perspective, 2 of Stafford’s ‘turnovers’ were not really his fault. One was when #2 WR (probably OBJ) ran the wrong route and the other was the strip-fumble when Raven defender came in unblocked. I’d cut Stafford a lot of slack on those two plays.
The deep throw into triple coverage with Jefferson wide open underneath? Unforgivable.
