Yep. Crappy 1st half is a good way to put it (maybe even generous).
But... and this is why I'll defend Stafford.... he was amazing in the 2nd half. Yes, he lost a forced fumble in scoring territory and that's nothing to sneeze at. But he just kept playing and moving the team and when it all the mattered the most, there he was throwing darts.
The football vet media all say the same thing; it won't always be pretty. It's football. Plans go out the window pretty fast. It's getting to the win that matters. And good teams do that way more often than not. That pretty well defines the 2021 Rams.
This as opposed to fans who want stress free, nearly perfect wins that are never in doubt (I'd MUCH prefer that !).
