I pointed out that I was at his first game he played in . . . "vs Baltimore dad?".
"No versus SF in the season finale where he was like 4 of 15 and stunk but there was this really great linebacker that wore #59 that was all over the place".
That and 3 years in Arena, 1998, being exposed in the expansion draft but still a fun story.
Isaac Bruce for a movie was pretty good and I like how they showed he lost the Arena Bowl on the 1 yard line but didn't show Dyson getting tackled on the 1.
I also loved how they spliced in real clips from the game and the Ray Lewis talking junk.
All in all, a fun movie and the kid that played Zack deserves an Oscar!

It's not Rocky or The Natural or Hoosiers or Miracle as far as sports movies, but it was well done and a really nice family movie. My kids sort of eye-rolled about going but they both said afterward they liked it a lot. Overall I liked that the main focus was on his struggles and relationships rather than the 1999 season itself.
Agree that the only real inaccuracies were implying he was with the Iowa Barnstormers for one year vs. 3 and skipping over that the Rams signed him in 1998 and sent him to NFL Europe.
Plus, Marshall Faulk was pretty chunky for some reason....
