Matthew Stafford brushes off being snubbed from Pro Bowl

Matthew Stafford has had quite the first season with the Rams this year. He’s completed 67.6% of his passes, has thrown 35 touchdown passes and 10 interceptions and is averaging 295.9 yards per game.
Yet, those numbers are somehow not good enough to make the Pro Bowl.
Stafford was beat out by Tom Brady, Aaron Rodgers and Kyler Murray for a Pro Bowl spot in the NFC, despite putting up numbers that rival all three players. Stafford was named an alternate, so he should get into the Pro Bowl if someone drops out, but it’s not the same as being selected in the first place.
He doesn’t seem to mind, though.
“Not really, to be honest with you,” he said when asked if he had a reaction to not making the Pro Bowl. “Just go about my day, continue to prepare, try to play as good as I possibly can for the guys in our locker room and our coaching staff, and our fans. So, that’s kind of how I feel about it, to be honest with you.”
It’s an expected answer from the veteran quarterback, who never gives himself too much credit or worries about outside noise. He’ll just keep going about his business and try to help the Rams make the game that’s played after the Pro Bowl.
