No, if they stopped them on defense and then got the ball and scored a TD, the game's over.
I don't mind the way that it is. It forces a team to have to play defense. What I can't stand is college. Drags it on too long. I like the NFL compromise. It used to be that any score would be game over. Now, you don't lose on any score but you better be able to stop a TD. Fair enough.
