we've talked about this before. The 70's made me a believer.... the Ram's were a consistent quality team and as odd as this sound, or at hard as it is too believe... it got me through that period of time you refer too. I never thought of the Ram's as anything less than winners.
BUT... for those that didn't get into the Ram's until the 90's, which today is probably most on this board, they didn't have 'winning' tradition... so for them... it's very different than it is for me.
I think the fans who started in the 80's had it good as well... I think only 1 division title in the 80's? But WOW the all star players in that era... and nearly always in the hunt. - JamesJM
