If vaccination actually protects you from getting Covid; and the vaccinations are available to ALL for FREE. And you CHOOSE to get vaccinated, then what difference does it make to you if your neighbor CHOOSES not to? What difference does it make to you if he or she gets sick or even dies? You can't be harmed. If your family is vaccinated they can't be harmed. At least that's what we were told. Guaranteed in fact. The "vaccinate your neighbor" policy is illogical. It is, rather, simply authoritarian.

The harm to our economy has NOT come from businesses closing down because their owners and employees got sick and couldn't work. The harm is that government shut millions of business down as a precaution (in their brilliant eyes), throwing scores of millions out of work, destroying the supply chain, destroying hundreds of thousands of family businesses....forever. It was government rules that shut businesses down; not the disease itself. It was the lack of choice that so horribly damaged millions of lives and our economy. And, millions won't return to work because they still get so much money from the government, they choose not to go back to work.

Here's a useful mandate: if you were working before Covid you MUST go back to work, now. The surviving businesses can't get workers. It's selfish if you don't. Naturally I mean all that sarcastically.

And now in the NFL, after pushing so hard to get players to do what many didn't want to do; and having all kinds of harsh and whacky requirements in place, now the Chief Doctor of the NFL has a news conference and admits that so many of their assumptions were wrong. But, of course, now what do they do about it after enormously over reacting to Covid as though this was Small Pox or Ebola or some type of biblical plague?
