I would be less aggressive in creating cap room. But, well, Snead has hardly known for being less aggressive so we'll see. But I would start with the expectation that Whitworth retires, then release Hekker and a couple lower paid players in David Long and Brycen Hopkins. Then deal with extending Stafford to create 2022 cap space. That would get them to a good enough place.
Going into his age 31 season I really would not restructure Donald. I think by the time he is 32 (2023)- I really hate to say it- you want flexibility to let him go and finish elsewhere IF necessary. Maybe he is elite through 2023. I don't doubt he could be. But you want flexibility I think when it comes to (then) older players.
I don't think extending Miller or OBJ is part of their equation. They will be looking for 2023 comp. picks based on them signing elsewhere.
