I didn’t really see Reeder and Rapp being abused over and over again as used by Morris?
.
Used the same way a Lber and RS would be used under Staley
Kiser>Reeder
FUller>Rapp
What you don't get is you think it is scheme when you have proven ovcer and over
and over and over that you hate Morris and say it is scheme and refuse
to accept any answer other than scheme
Which is ironic since you admit you don't know what the scheme is and for weeks denied
that it is the same as Staley's
And how is a DC supposed to make AD, A-Rob, Miller, Floyd, rush the passer better?
There is a call---after that ther player has to beat the man.
The DC has no magical power over the DL. There is a front call, and the Dl runs it
someone has to win. Sorry, but Aaron Donald isn't winning. Miller isn't winning.
Floyd isn't winning. It's silly to blame that on the DC.
Why don't you blame Eric Henderson? Ejiro Evero? Even know who they are?
What they do?
Typical condescending and rude reply from you, 53.
Look, I’ll keep this real simple. A DC’s job is to scheme his players in such a way that it enhances their strengths and hides their weaknesses while at the same time best neutralizes the opposing O. Surely we can agree on that?
Morris schemes are not getting the job done, despite the talent on this D roster. Again, Ray Charles can see that. I believe other DC’s could scheme this roster into a top 5 unit, Fangio, for example. I could see a DC getting surprised and looking bad in any one game. That happens to all of them eventually. But week after week after week? Nope. THAT’s evidence of a stubborn or stupid coach unwilling to adjust.
McVay made a ‘friend’ hire and then told Morris to implement a scheme with which he is unfamiliar. Now we’re all living with the consequences.
Making excuses that Reeder and Rapp are not sufficiently talented is weak. He should have figured that out last Spring and told McVay/Snead what he needed and/or coached up other players already on this roster. Burgess, for example?
Morris was a bad hire, man.
