it's hard to not be negative on a 3 game losing streak, when your expectation was that this team would be a contender. I know it's hard to go into Lambeau and get a win, but I just felt like after 2 tough losses, coming out of the bye week, McVay and Morris would have fixed some of the problems from the previous 2 losses, and had at least a scheme to get the team out to a fast start in this game. At first blush, it doesn't look like anything was fixed, and in some instances.... have been exacerbated. I am just perplexed at the lack of adjustments made on either side of the ball.... and Special Teams is just a wreck. I praise McVay for the winning attitude he has brought to this program, but along with that comes high expectations. With as much talent that is on this team, I am floored at the level of play that we are witnessing. They just look poorly schemed and poorly coached...
This team MAY limp into the playoffs as a Wildcard.... maybe. But if we do make it in, it will certainly be an early exit. I've already started to look towards next year and what can be done to get to a championship caliber of play again. A new DC, address the soft play on Defensive coverages, address the interior LBer play, a more balanced attack on Offense, and an entire revamp of our Special Teams.
