1978 Rams vs GB in the Coliseum. Misty rain, the kind that even waterproof gear won't keep out.... not that we were wearing waterproof clothing and gear.
Luckily I was with some friends on a weekend binge... so we were anti-freezed up to the max. It's was also a day of miracles. Tangent coming up:
It began when I turned to Jim, (another Jim, friend), and said I'll give you 10 to 1 that the Rams score on the second play from now... this when GB had the ball. They did. That began a series of completely impossible and foolish bets... and all of them came true. Ridiculous things.... like "GB will fumble on their 3rd down".. and they would. Rams will intercept on this play.... and they would.
We still talk about it to this day.
