Re: Jackson released: What was DeSean's thinking? Confused

I realize DeSean Jackson has had a history of a Diva but I thought he was older and wiser now at the age of 34 with his injury history the last 2 and half seasons.

He was on a SB caliber Rams team that didn't give him the targets he expected when they signed him. I get it...

That would be frustrating but he's not the DeSean of of past years.

This has me confused because he said all the right things after he was signed. Maybe it was a PR move tell everyone what they want to hear etc...

I guess he played us and felt McVay was wasting his talent being the 4th WR on a talented Rams offense.

Maybe there is more than meets the eye but I thought DeSean would have the patience of a veteran.

A 34 year old injury plagued player that was on a team that was still figuring out their offense and he quickly waived the l want out of here flag?

You have been the healthiest you've been over the last 3 seasons and you thought McVay was wasting away your potential after 7 games?

I will agree to a point but you cried like a baby right before the trade deadline so you could get released and catch on with another team that might give you a few more targets?

In his first 7 games as a Los Angeles Ram he had pedestrian targets.

2021 with the LA Rams: 8 Receptions, 221Receiving yards, 27.6 Yards per catch, 1 TD.

What the heck I'm I not understanding about Jackson's train of thought?

I'm still baffled.

Maybe he gets claimed by another playoff potential team and explodes.

I don't know.

I'm done trying to figure this out.
