Asked McVay whether second-round pick Atwell (who somewhat understandably has not worked into offense but ST touches have also decreased) is where he thought he’d be: “He has a lot of room to develop and grow…I’d like to see him have a little more increased sense of urgency.”

I think the realistic and fair way to look at this is that it’s OK to not be factoring in as much right now as a WR because of level of depth and success rate ahead on roster. But, the Rams have not been able to get their second-round pick factored into ST consistently either.
