I think it's a terrible idea for Detroit players, coaches and/or management to preach that Detroit is snakebit, is held to a different standard by the league and officials and that they should expect to always be on the short end of the stick.
I know he's using that as a motivating factor, but that kind of attitude can only contribute to a self-fulfilling prophecy of organizational doom. No wonder they can't escape the basement -- they all believe they're destined to remain there, despite their best efforts. That aside, I love Bell's fierce, tough attitude.
