And the truth lies somewhere in between what the statistics tell us, and what our eyes see. Maybe, instead of spending so much time on comparisons with last year's defense, we can focus on what we see as weaknesses or holes in this defense that may prevent us from going deep into the playoffs and a SB ring. For me, I still feel uneasy about how thin our secondary is, and how they are being used. I also am still unsure of the run D in the front 7. We are not tackling as well as we should be.
If I were to rank our Defense right now, I'd put us somewhere between 10-12 out of 32 teams. Is that good enough to get us to the promised land?
And that is all I did for those weeks---
The front seven is not what it was last year. ARob is not Brockers. #92 and #96--maybe they will be okay but neither one is Morgan Fox.
But, the good news is T-Lew looks like he may be healthy enough to show his skills. And maybe, but not for sure,Rapp is going to be as good
as Fuller was as RD and Fuller can step up and be close to what Johnson was at LS
What is hard to tell is if Young is better than Kiser--neither is Pro Bowler and Jones is getting snaps, maybe he can step up
a lot of unknowns. Rochelle at least has size other don;t have, and athletic skills
People forgot how many changes in personel Rams had, only SJD, Donald, and Floyd are at same spots this year as last and we played
playoff-type teams the first 5 games---
