and this is just me. I won't speak for anyone else.
I'm a perfectionist. I'm always looking looking to improve. improve crop yields, improve calf quality. improve my private life. improve my golf game. name a thing, and I'm trying to improve it. so for me, even if I have the top selling calves at the sale barn this winter, I'm still gonna look for ways to improve on that. whether it's better genetics, better feed program, adding more mineral supplements, you name it. I'm looking. So if I complain about the Rams defense, or running game, or clock management or whatever, I'm just looking for improvement. that does not mean I am unhappy. I am happy. But I hate the thought of not trying to be better or perform better or work better. it's how I'm wired.
just good enough is not good enough. But that should never be mistaken for unhappiness. At least in my world.
