I think people are giving their honest assessments... and that can definitely lean to the negative. Think of it as 'tough love'.
But where I agree with you in part - - - Here's an example:
I didn't see the game, and I haven't watched a rerun of it as yet, (you can bet I will), so my 'impression' by getting game notifications and having seen the stats doesn't really match the consensus take on this board, in several ways. Just one example: Stafford missed 12 passes? If I go by general comments made on this board he missed at least 10 of them, at least 2 were drops?, and not just badly but horribly. When I re-watch the game I'll be surprised if that holds true...I will NOT be surprised if he missed a few horribly because I saw him to that last week. - JamesJM
Don't patronize me with tough love. I know how this board thinks and how the media reacts year after year.
Even with their flaws, this is the best Rams roster McVay has had since he's been the head coach.
The roster has flaws and the defense appears to have taken a step back.
The Rams will be heavily judged how they perform over their next 5 games.
October 17 at Giants
October 24 vs Lions
October 31 at Texans
November 7 vs Titans
November 15 at 49ers
So, when fans complain about the coaching or player performance it's "whining" but when you do it about other fans, it's...what?
No moklerman.. I'm not on board with the whining after 5 games. I believe this is the best Rams roster since McVay has been the head coach. And yes I believe there is too much whining about this team.
You said when I whine it's about fans its what? Not sure what you what you meant by that?
I just think it's more palatable for fans to be critical of what's going on on the field, than for fans to complain about other fans.
This is a good roster but I don't think anyone takes it for granted or disagrees with that idea. But I don't think that means that we aren't allowed to make observations or even complain about the mistakes that actually happen.
