I still don't buy it.

If the current Ram players were rocking the '99 uniforms (classics) they would be flying off the shelves at the same pace as the new ones are.

The opening of the new stadium plus the winning involved would create interest no matter what the uniforms look like. A child and grownups alike would be impressed with the whole experience alike.

It's not mutually exclusive to the success of the style of the current merch being sold.

At best, this is a glass half empty half full situation depending on how you wish to view it.

Yes, current merch is being sold but that doesnt mean it would be sold any better than if the merch was in the classic style.
