Week 1 of 2020 and the Rams beat the Cowboys 20-17 and the Defense gave up 136 Yds of Rushing with a 5.0 yard avg and 1 TD. In my mind, I expected them to probably come out either slow or sporadic. But then watching it happen, it still makes you feel uneasy.... I guess that's part of being a fan.
I think most of us know that not playing any starters in the pre-season can be a double edge sword. It may protect your key players from senseless injuries. But the other side of this is not being ready for game speed, being out of sync, and playing sloppy. We certainly saw that last night with the tackling on Defense.
It was a good win against a quality team. Give the Bears some credit. I thought they had a pretty good game plan on offense with their run and short passing game.
