We've had excellent leadership from every position group that matters, except for one: QB. Stafford changes that in a big way.
Leadership steadies the unit; it gives guys a shoulder to cry on; it gives the young studs people to look up to.

But real leadership is secure enough within itself to want to help and assist others in their development. And all we hear is how guys like Ramsey and AD are so willing to help not only their defensive teammates, but also explain to their offense counterparts what they can do to make them more difficult for a D to deal with. Whitworth is off the charts in leadership, and everything I've read about Stafford says he is the same as Whitworth. Leadership can make the difference in tight games, and especially in the playoffs.

If the Rams don't win, it won't be for lack of leadership.... coaching or locker room.

Being a bad leader versus offering leadership aren't the same things
