If it was a little minor thing that has been there why did they not get on it ASAP until waiting for now....is it something that the "health department" goofed on? If it was something that happened in a practice why was it not mentioned after that practice?
He was looking up by all reports, lost weight, had some explosion ...AD was talking high on him....was it a freak thing in drills? No mention of him going off the field in a practice I can remember.
Total guess on my part not knowing his injury history other than last season’s cardiac issue, and as you said no reports on an injury at practice. “Minor” knee procedures tend to be arthroscopic non invasive procedures that usually include meniscus tear repairs, and debridement procedures for loose cartilage. Both of these have the player on their feet and off crutches soon and beginning rehab to strengthen and maintain existing strength around the knee quickly sometimes the next day with range of motion exercises. With depth on the DL I imagine the Rams take their time with his return but 2-4 weeks is typical.
