I'm hoping Wolf gets some snaps in Denver next week.
He's our #2 QB and I believe he's the best backup we have regardless of Perkins preseason hype.
Wolford was McVay's choice over Goff at the end of last year for a various reasons regardless of JG's thumb injury.
I think the thumb was an issue , otherwise why would he wait for it to be broken to replace him with Wolf?
I highly doubt he would be starting Wolf over Golf if Goff was healthy.
Perkins is better than Wolf imo....I won't be surprised if Perkins is our QB2 to start the season....
Agreed. If the thumb was healthy, Goff starts both games. Now...McVay might have been looking for a reason to "move on" from Goff, I would like to think that starting the Wolf over a HEALTHY Goff would have been a mistake. IMO, the "thumb" just gave him an easy "out" so to say and he JUMPED at the chance to start the Wolf.
I wouldn't be surprised if Perkins was the #2 also 2k. In fact, if he lights it up this last game it would really help make his case, not only to us but to other teams as well.
I wonder if McVay decides NOT to play Perkins in the last game just in case that would happen. It also would slow down all the "Perkins is better Wolf" chatter that the media is now doing about Perkins.
IMO, Perkins is better than the Wolf. Question is: Will McVay actually go with the better player or is his "man crush" on the Wolf too strong?
#HelmetHornsMatter
“Well, the color is good, I like the metallic blue,” Youngblood recently said while laughing, via NFL Journal. “The horn is terrible. It looks like a ‘C.’ When I first saw it on the logo I honestly thought it was a Charger logo.
“Now when I see it on the helmet, it just isn’t a ram horn. There is no distinct curl like a mature ram horn. I don’t know how the Rams could get that wrong. That is your symbol and it has been for what? Seventy years or more? Longer than I have been alive? It’s just not us, it’s not the Rams.”---Mr. Ram Jack Youngblood
