For me the Wolf love

For me the Wolf love from the masses in general and McVay in particular was that he was everything that Goff wasn't. A risk taker better off schedule, could make something out of nothing. If things are perfect Goff could deal but the pressure to always be perfect must have been draining. The Wolf was pancakes and sausage for breakfast after 4 years of nothing but oatmeal. Wolf was desirable in relation to constant Goff less so in relation to Stafford and Perkins.
