I think he is going to do a good job. Not a fan of his by any means btw. But I do think he's a smart coach, he has a good eye for people, and he has a good kid at QB who is going to get better and better. If they don't get him killed before the team comes together.
They have given that roster a huge infusion of talent in year one. And I don't think the roster was barren btw. I really like some of the pieces that were already there. What might be a prob for him is if they manage to win too much this year. I'd be hoping for a 4-6 win season at most if I'm a Jags fan. More than that and they'll have a harder time getting another impact player up high.
