Pressing was often just disastrous when he(Goff) did it.
This is the key. Goff is very good when in a rhythm but when he gets flustered or tries to press
Goff tries to make throws
he cannot make or scramble like he's in
slow motion oblivious to ball security.
As Dirty Harry said....
"A man's got to know his limitations".
...and Goff didn't.
Stafford is more arm-talented and will gamble on throws too....but is far better taking passing risks.
Stafford also scrambles far faster & decisive than Goff and with more pocket awareness. imo
"L'audace, l'audace. Toujours l'audace!"
