Hummmmm. I have been challenged on this point. Many felt it was simple. Made it easy for QB. Now that Stafford is guy it's complicated. Ok. If they say so. Says a lot about how Matt is impacting this offense or does it?
The part of your post I'm not understanding is how Stafford needing to learn the offense translates to it saying a lot about he is impacting the offense. I don't see how it says anything about how Stafford is impacting the offense since there have been no games played yet. We'll see how he impacts things once they start playing.
As far as the McVay offense being called QB friendly, I believe that was said because it presents QBs with so many options and wide open receivers. I don't think it's being called QB friendly has ever meant that it's easy to learn the offense.
Goff adjusted from one offense to McVay's in a year.
In terms of Stafford impacting the offense, that depends on what people mean by "impacting" I guess, but it is altering because of him. We know this, they've said as much. They have already gone over things Stafford brings from playing for 13 years and in several systems. Altering in what ways and to what extent? We don't know. And that's probably going to be an ongoing thing anyway. It won't stop with training camp.
