I'm not commenting on the report. Who knows. But to me Woods has been and is one of THE most valuable parts of this team and its resurgence.
The only reason he didn't have his 3rd straight 1,100+ yard season in 2020 was how much the entire offense was scaled back.
He's done nothing but be consistently excellent as a receiver, blocker and runner since the day he arrived in 2017. He's barely 29 years old, has 5,000+ yards as a Rams WR well in his sights this year, and might (by late 2023) end up being the most productive and reliable receiver this franchise has ever had not named Bruce, Holt or Ellard.
I think sometimes you just have to appreciate what you have and not be rubbernecking the next thing that walks by...
One of the secrets to Woods's success? He runs like a running back. I don't mean he plows into people or is super shifty. I mean he has the vision and anticipation of a running back with when the ball is in his hands in traffic. Very few receivers have this.
