The more I think he's the right player at the right time. By that I mean Stafford loves to highpoint passes and place the ball where the big guys can get it. And Harris has the kind of natural body control and length you can't teach, similar to Jimmy Graham, but he's also explosive.
I think McVay has signed on with Phillips' plan to feature this guy. I think even when the pads come on he'll be a threat in the passing game. He will need time on his blocking and it will cut into his snaps a bit I'm sure. But we are going to feel Harris this season. I might look stupid later by saying this but what the heck. We just don't have anyone else who can do what this guy can do. Right player at the right time and his value will be maximized by 9.
