So my guess is they're giving him snaps with the starters. Which means he's in the mix and will be come camp. He'll still need to learn the offense and play well of course to stick, otherwise McVay will pivot with heavy 11 sets. But it's a good sign if that's the indicator.
Going into this draft we knew this was a year where teams who were at the top of their scouting game could benefit. What with COVID uncertainty, the cancelled games and interruptions of schedule and whatnot. So IMO it follows that the Rams will emerge as one of the winners with a couple mid to late rounders who can help them.
