I think we've had this discussion in prior years. IMO, it's not a linear thing of how do we replace X amount of sacks or whether Robinson is Brocker's equal in the pass rush department. There is more than one way to accomplish a task.
In our case, if Robinson, SJD, and Gaines really are formidable run defenders and we improve significantly in that area, our pass rush will be helped due to offenses being in more 2nd and 3rd and long.
Secondly, I believe the pass rush improved last year when Ebukam's snaps decreased. Both Hollins and Lewis showed more than he did. And this year Hollins and Lewis' snaps should both be higher than last year provided they stay healthy.
