Their mutual goal above all else is to constantly improve the roster in order to maximize wins.
Pretty much all else is designed to support that mission and is therefore secondary.
Once one wraps one’s mind around that, then all things become understandable and pretty acceptable, don’t you think?
As to Peters and Talib? As others have correctly pointed out, neither were playing up to their salaries, especially Talib. It happens.
Don’t know about y’all, but I have a ton of respect for executives that can make the tough personnel decisions when it helps the team.
Rams aren’t running a daycare center or a therapy group. They’re trying to win a SB. There are only 3 sacred cows on this roster and Rams are having zero problems with any of them. All others are on constant notice that they must produce or they will be hitting the door. Just the way it is and the way it should be.
