Who do you think Rams are targeting at #57, #88 and #103....and WHY?

At 57 - I think they would love Asante Samuel Jr., I think he is gone and I think they know it. I think they really want to trade down a little and draft Walker Little. They have more knowledge of him than any team and if they think he is back to his old self from his ACL, then he makes perfect sense with Carberry. Little has also been cross training as a OG. That cannot hurt. Is 57 too high for Little? Not really. In my mock I mentioned he would have been a top 20 pick after the 19 season had he not blown out his knee. I have heard SD could take him with their 2nd round pick. I prefer a small move back, gain a 5th and take him. Elijah Molden has Rams type of player written all over him, but he can't survive outside, so I'm not sure he is a fit. But he would be an incredible pick. Lastly, Quinn Meinerz is someone the Rams are seriously interested in, and according to the Senior Bowl Director, teams have told him that he is not getting out of the 2nd. I just don't think the Rams can squeeze the trigger.

88. is tough, esp if they miss on a CB, and I think they will. Adebo from Stanford (again? wth!!) is scheme fit meeting need meeting value. I think an edge like Roche is a guy they like. He isn't a speed demon, but the Rams have never cared about that. He is tough, racked up stats, has a big time motor and is a technician. Things they do care about. OTs Hudson, Brown and Christiansen are all scheme fits. Brown was a Senior Bowl guy.

103. A top shelf WR like Smith-Marsette or Dyami Brown would be pretty good right here. Both can pop the top on a defense. I think if they take a WR its in round 3 or 4. At this point in the draft, you get a guy that can contribute, but isn't forced into action when Jackson or Kupp go down...lol

DL makes a ton of sense here as well. They lost Fox and Brockers. At some point you need to replace at least the depth.


I mean, of your picks 1-13...If there's any one of those players still on the board at #57, do the Rams happily walk up and pick that player?

I would think so.I don't know how they feel about Jamin Davis, again LBer...or Creed Humphrey again OC...or maybe Oweh who never had a sack this year. The rest would seem like slam dunks. Mayfield may be slipping
