I just had a long debate about this with some friends. Its selection bias. One of my friends discounts SB wins by Tom Brady (says he should only have two wins at most) while downplaying the abject failures of Dak Prescott, Lamar Jackson, Teddy Bridgewater, RGIII (says he was never in a good situation), Sam Darnold (says he doesn't get any help from his teammates [curiously, Jared Goff was a bum because he needed too much support from his teamates]).
You know what it is? Most people don't know how to construct arguments anymore; they only argue from assertion. I mean they don't understand most of the time why, or how something is contradictory.
I always say this, but I think it's because almost no one reads literature anymore. They get everything from the internet, most of which is based on just getting an opinion out there to be consumed. Stuff just get gets consumed, but it doesn't get digested so there is no nutritional value.
