It's precisely this success Snead has had with DBs that causes me to feel Long isn't a bust yet. All of these hits Snead brought in were not productive immediately.

How many times have people wanted to give up on Hill? He's been developing in the Rams system from before McVay. D-Will has been in the system for 3 years. No one knew he was this good as recently as one year ago.

Who's to say Long doesn't break out like Hill or D-Will next season? It's not like we've seen bad play from him; we just haven't seen anything remarkable.
