It's very hard to work out a player for player trade. The money has to work, the contract structure has to work. And a team wanting your player has to have a player in return that fits your system, needs, etc. Even the Stafford thing that involved a player in return involved draft picks as well.
To me, Brockers for a player is quite remote.
I don’t totally disagree, Rock. The puzzle pieces do have to be a good fit for both teams.
But Snead is a trading mofo and he can employ ‘sweeteners’ to balance the scales. There’s gotta be a happy medium between cutting Brockers outright and keeping him at his cap hit salary despite his redundancy while Rams have other holes to fill, you know?
I’m sure Snead is pursuing all options.
