The Rams used that same strategy on A'Shawn, although with him it was a 2-year deal with a voided 3rd year. I'm not sure I even knew teams could do that before this season with him and Floyd: certainly a creative approach.
My post, though, was about whether a lower cap would lead to more 1-year deals. I'm leaning townrds 'not necessarily'. What is your thought on that?
