I was watching an old video about our super bowl and they talked about that. They even showed a clip where Brandon Cooks was streaking down the field with his hand up waiting for a ball but by the time Jared threw it to him he was already at the very back of the end zone and the safety had caught up to him. I wonder if Goff is just a tick slow seeing the stuff and that makes it harder for him to get the ball out before the line collapses.

he also kind of launches from the same spot. So he drops back but he's always at the same spot. I don't know if that affects the way defenses rush the passer but knowing that golf isn't going to move left and move right much probably helps and makes him seem like a sitting duck back there.

Could it be that Goff was just too slow at processing his progressions?
