I didn't say "what people meant." You misread.

And that was you who did that. This is you: "When someone says 'Goff is the problem,' it means they feel or that McVay feels that Goff was the MAIN problem." I simply told you (with some very low key sarcasm) that I knew damm well what he meant--and disagree with it. (Less low key sarcasm would be saying something like "duh" or "thanks captain obvious," stuff like that).

What I said in response was everyone knows what he meant, which is just a way of saying what he meant was obvious.
