And what’s clear as day is McVay decided he couldn’t win a SB with Goff as his QB. Maybe McVay wasn’t patient enough, but he is certainly decisive. Goff wasn’t getting it, he was making the same mistakes over and over. Some people said well Goff fixed the problem cause he didn’t turn the ball over in his last 2 games. I highly doubt that. But we’ll get to see it in Detroit if that is true.I might add that with Stafford I think McVay can open up his entire playbook. Maybe even more than in ‘17-‘18 because of Stafford’s experience and abilities. There’s no throw he can’t make well, no D he hasn’t already seen many times. That’s beyond huge.
The sky’s the limit for McVay/Stafford for this O IF that C position is sufficiently upgraded and maybe a speedy deep WR is added.
