QB pressure is GOING to happen even with a good Oline. D's are just too darn good.
So we're going from the outhouse to the penthouse at least on that account.
About the only people around who diss on our oline are some never-happy campers on this board. The reality is that around the league the Rams were seen has having a good Oline. And since QBs sacks and other issues like that go into figuring the efficiency of an Oline, can you imagine how they might have been regarded with a QB who does well with pressure?
There will be NO overhaul of our oline. About the one place I can see the Rams trying to improve is at Center. And I hope they do. Because Goff had way too much pressure up the middle; and that is the big problem today. It is why AD is a game wrecker. When the middle is well protected a QB can step up and away from edge pressure.
I've said forever: spend the money on the interior oline and get "good enough" Tackles. Your QB will do better.
