Snead was snickering at the question and playing games with it when asked.

On top of it remember no one communicated to the player that he was up for a trade, he heard it through news reports, and that's before the trade was finalized.

About Goff not being notified about trade talks. So what? Seriously.

Snead ‘snickering’ is a bit of a stretch, too. Snead was nervously trying to walk a PR tightrope and public speaking has never been his long suit.
