Please present the details.
Otherwise, I'll keep my current opinion.
I did more than once already through various discussions of this. IMO you could think of them yourself, because you are a decent human being.
For one thing you don't snicker and play around with the question, is he your qb. That gives a bad impression.
It's simple to answer that and we know that because it has happened many times in NFL history.
For one thing you recall that the player was a good character who played the role of franchise qb well in the public eye. You also remember there was a time when his play took the team to good highs in comparison to a decade of frustration.
So you quietly say, the qb position is under review right now, a lot can happen but this is not the time to talk about it. we appreciate everything Jared stands for but we want to assess where we are going forward, until we do that I don't want to comment too much on any of this.
You also tell the player privately that there could be big changes.
You don't have to make jokes about the question, snicker, and generally act the fool.
It's easy to do all of that. No one should have to think too hard about this, this is not that complicated.
I know people get defensive when the suits get criticized--I learned that the hard way when I was critical of Zygmunt long (LONG) before it was popular. We know what classy leadership looks like, it's not that hard to imagine.
